Using the depth contour lines of the premium charts, such as BlueChart ® g3 Vision, the Fish Eye 3D chart view provides an underwater view of the sea floor or lake bottom. Suspended targets, such as fish, are indicated by red, green, and yellow spheres. Red indicates the largest targets and green indicates the smallest. The following documents are available for Raymarine marine electronics: manuals, mounting templates, 2D/3D models (CAD drawings) and Declaration of Conformity certificates. Sidescan Sonar is a category of sonar system that is used to efficiently create an image of large areas of the seafloor. A Sidescan Sonar is dragged just above the seafloor and emits sonar pulses downwards. When capturing the seafloor there is a tradeoff between using high frequencies for high resolution but small coverages and using low frequencies for low resolution but high coverage. The sonar transducer supports max ft wireless operation and max ft water depth detection. The sonar ball is lightweight and compact and you don't need long heavy cable anymore. Moreover, there is a small hole in the sonar transducer so that you can tether with your fishing line and cast it onto water easily. Echo sounder transducers Installation manual This document provides a generic description of echo sounder transducer installation. The information must be regarded as general guidelines and recommendations only. The installation shipyard must design and manufacture installation hardware to fit each individual transducer and vessel.

The Sea Scan ARC Explorer tow fish is constructed using hard anodized billet aluminum, stainless steel, and durable polymers. It features a built in Variable Angle Tow Point for ultimate imaging flexibility. Field replaceable transducers allow the user to quickly adapt the sonar to various conditions without com-promising range or resolution. known as Sonar Array Sounding Systems (SASS). SASS employed two separate sonar arrays oriented orthogonal to one another—one for transmitting and one for receiving—an arrangement called a Mills Cross Array. The arrays and the associated analog electronics provided 90 1°-wide unstabilized beams. 90 1 INTRODUCTION TO SONAR 4 f = 12 kHz D = m beamwidth = +− deg Source level normalized to on−axis response −20 −40 −60 −
